Open Choke provides a variety of funding structures to meet the small producer’s needs – from senior and mezzanine loans, to preferred equity investments, and direct working interest investments. Additionally, Open Choke seeks to acquire operated or non-operated producing assets.

Midstream funding

Open Choke seeks "throughput" assets such as oil and gas gathering and transportation systems, processing and treating facilities, storage facilities and other infrastructure assets. Similar to its activities in E & P, Open Choke provides a variety of funding alternatives to midstream companies, including senior and mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and common equity. Additionally, Open Choke seeks to acquire midstream assets, ranging from transportation, to storage and processing.

Asset Acquisitions

In addition to supporting operating entities, Open Choke is an active acquirer of onshore ownership interests in E & P assets.
